Accessibility Statement

How accessible the Service is, what is not yet right, and how to tell us.

Version 1.0 · Effective 6 August 2026 · Last updated 6 August 2026

We sell accessibility guidance to care providers. Shipping an inaccessible product while doing that is not a position we could defend, so we hold ourselves to the standard we describe.

1. Standard

We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 level AA. The Service has been audited against it and remediated: colour contrast tokens were darkened to clear 4.5:1, a visible focus indicator was added throughout, dialogs carry proper roles and keyboard handling, and motion respects the reduced-motion preference.

2. Known limitations

  • Some exported PDFs are not fully tagged for screen readers. Text alternatives are available on request.
  • A small number of data tables are wide and require horizontal scrolling on a phone.
  • Third-party payment pages are outside our control and follow their own accessibility standard.

We list these rather than omit them. A statement claiming no limitations is usually a statement nobody has tested.

3. Feedback

Tell us at hello@careshieldcompliance.co.uk if you meet a barrier. We will respond within 5 working days and tell you what we can do and by when. If you need a document in an alternative format — large print, Easy Read, another language — ask and we will provide it.
